IDOLPHIN uses Tencent Cloud AI to standardize individual identification data of Chinese white dolphins and realize data visualization through digital applications on the Internet to meet the data service needs of different protection subjects, thereby promoting the public use of scientific data and assisting research and management agencies in making conservation decisions. At the same time, iDOLPHIN will explore an interconnected public welfare protection mode based on individual - population - marine public conservation areas. Integrate resources around species data and conservation through sustainable public interest financing and conservation partnerships, and establish adaptive management frameworks to assess species growth and community benefits.

IDOLPHIN works with at least four research institutes and one national urban conservation area authority to promote the study of Chinese white dolphins and other non-star whales through scientific and policy advocacy.
